Well it’s official – wedding season is no longer in July & August.

When I started back to work after my ‘maternity leave’ (I use that term VERY lightly– 5 weeks was definitely not long enough!)  I was straight into designing stationery for up and coming weddings in March & April and since then, the months have been a blur!

I honestly can’t believe we are in the middle of September already. I have had a wedding every weekend since Spring. Most weekends there were 2-3 with some Bank Holiday weekends totalling 8! So… what’s been popular this season? The short answer, everything.

My two ‘core’ styles are still massively popular:

• Florals

• Foils

…Luckily I LOVE working on both! But I have noticed an increase in couples opting for a more clinical & clean look and others have preferred the industrial influences of concrete and copper. Whatever you want for your big day, I’m always up for a challenge!

As we get into my favourite time of the year (Autumn/Winter) I’m looking forward to sharing some new designs with you. I’ll also be doing a bit of a website update – adding more styles to the design page and more products to the online store. – That is, if I EVER pick a paint colour for my living room… It’s been empty since we moved in a year and a half ago but PW and I aim to have it ready for the festive season (yes, I went there). On that note, you should probably unfollow me from October onwards if you are a bit of a Grinch…

But now, it’s time for me to take my summer Stateside with my family before the prep, design & endless printing for 2018 begins!
